COMPLAINANT STATES THAT SHE INFORMED THE STAFF <br />WHO DID NOT SEEM SURPRISED. COMPLAINANT ALSO STATES SHE CALLED THE OWNER OF THE MORNING OF <br />02/25/2023 TO INFORM THEM OF WHAT HAPPENED HOWEVER SHE HAS NOT HEARD BACK. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodbome illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />#23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed one live cockroach on the floor in the front service area. Employee captured and discarded the <br />pest. Implement pest control services as necessary. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin: rodents (rats, mice), cockroaches, flies.( 114259.1, 114259.4, <br />114259.5) <br />#45 Floors, Walls, Ceilings; Clean and Maintained <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed food debris on the floor and underneath equipment in the kitchen, front service area, and back <br />storage areas. Deep clean these areas and maintain clean as needed regularly. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: The walls /ceilings shall have durable, smooth, nonabsorbent, light-colored, and washable surfaces. All floor <br />surfaces, other than the customer service areas, shall be approved, smooth, durable and made of nonabsorbent material that is easily <br />cleanable. Approved base coving shall be provided in all areas, except customer service areas and where food is stored in original <br />unopened containers. Food facilities shall be fully enclosed. All food facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair. Operator granted entrance to inspect facility. <br />Observed that the floors in the front service area, kitchen, and back storage area had food debris. Observed a live cockroach <br />on the front service area floor. Employee captured and discarded of the pest immediately.
