December 12, 1986 Project 116-1.5 <br />Leachate Collection System - Class II -1 Disposal Area <br />The following leachate collection stoop repair work will. require 30-60 days <br />to complete, and will commence within 30 days of approval of this plan by <br />the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board: <br />Trench 1 <br />Trench 1 will be provided with a new leachate sump access pipe, with a <br />surface door covering the pipe. <br />Teen(i 2 <br />The obstructing protrusion of concrete will be removed from below the <br />sliding door. <br />Trench 3 <br />Trench 3 will be provided with a new leachate sump access pipe, with a <br />surface door covering the pipe. <br />Trench 4 <br />The mud will be cleaned from the pipe and the sump will be checked again <br />for Leachate. The access door will. be elevated to prevent future access to <br />eroding soil.. <br />Waste Monitoring <br />A site employee training program will be implemented before the end of <br />.January, 1987, to insure that no designated or potentially hazardous wastes <br />are accepted at. the Forward Landfill. Unrinsed containers that; may contain <br />hazardous residue will be included in the training program as potentially <br />hazardous wastes.
