Complaint Investigation Summary Report #: 5105
COMPLAINT ID: COTYMEENV Site Location: 1501 N JACK TONE RD, RIPON, CA
Activity Summary
Activity Date Recorded by
10/15/2021 Sent a response email to Aric Morton <aricm@broadbentinc.com> : "Thank you MANZO
very much for your email, yes your understanding is accurate. At the end of the
storm drain flushing with water, I still observed the sheen on liquid inside the drain.
As such, additional steps are needed to verify that no evidence of contamination is
present inside the impacted storm drain. Please let me know what is planned to
address this issue. "
10/21/2021 Site visit: Received a voice message from Mr. Morton with Broadbent
530-518-3437, he indicated that Patriot is onsite finishing up storm drain clean up.
Called Mr. Morton, asked for the contact of the Patriot Env. representative onsite,
called Jose at 707-100-4017, left a voice message, called Mr. Morton asked him
to update me when the clean up will be finished. Received a call back from Mr.
Morton, he indicated that clean up is done now.
MANZO
Visited the site met with Jose Colin with Ponder Environmental 661-589-7771.
Ponder Environmental jetted the storm drain line between the three impacted
storm drains and recovered the waste liquid. It rained today as well generating
more storm liquid from the parking lot run off; something that look like minor
sheen consistent with the asphalt run off after a recent rain was noted in one of
the drains. Approximately two (nearly full) and one (with several inches of standing
liquid) 200-gallon reinforced plastic totes of waste liquid were removed from the
storm drain lines during storm drain jetting by Ponder Environmental. The totes
were stored onsite in the hazardous waste storage area pending profiling and
disposal. Clean up is complete. Asked Jose to provide waste determination and
waste disposal documentation for generated waste liquid.
04/07/2023 Organized complaint documentation and abated the complaint. Waste disposal MANZO
note was left under HW PR0516231
51 05. rpt
