MOST RECENT <br /> ON APRIL 2, 2023. <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> #7 Hot and Cold Holding Temperatures Major <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Observed meat in sauce in sauce pan on top of fryer,the meat was 76 F. Per manager this was done <br /> and they were making a new batch. Provide 135 F or above when hot holding PHFs or 41 F or below when cold holding <br /> PHFs. Corrected on site,the meat in sauce was discarded. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Potentially hazardous foods shall be held at or below 41/45°F or at or above 135°F. (113996, 113998, <br /> 114037, 114343(a)) <br /> #23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Observed one live juvenile cockroach on topping prep top which was not being used during the <br /> inspection and two live cockroaches around storage room door. Observed one dead cockroach on shelf near cup storage <br /> tray, several dead cockroaches on the floor near ice cream freezer, and one dead cockroach under ice cream front counter. <br /> Observed 1 dead cockroach on floor in dining area near 1 D Coca Cola display. Per invoice facility was serviced by Clark <br /> pest control on 3/13/2023. Clean and sanitize areas immediately and increase pest control measures. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin:rodents(rats,mice), cockroaches,flies.(114259.1, 114259.4, <br /> 114259.5) <br /> #35 Equipment/Utensils Approved and in Good Repair <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Filters were not installed in exhaust hood during the inspection. Per manager they were removed for <br /> cleaning. Have filters installed when using cooking equipment. Correct immediately. <br /> Missing faucet head at prep sink. Install faucet head within 3 days. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:All utensils and equipment shall be fully operative and in good repair.
