VESERIS <br />Contingency Plan <br />Section 1 - Effective Date Supersedes Page <br />Objectives of the Plan 9/20/2021 New 1-2 <br />information. Table 1 lists items that should be updated on a regular basis to <br />assure the plan remains current. <br />Note: Pages 7 - 10 of Section 3 and appendices A, B, and C contain <br />information that must be completed and updated by the individual branch. All <br />changes to these pages must be provided to all plan copy holders after every <br />update. <br />Additional details for procedures outlined in this plan are found in three <br />other Veseris documents in the possession of each branch office: <br />Operating Standards Manual <br />Documentation Manual <br />Hazard Communication Manual <br />The Contingency Plan must be modified if any of the following conditions exist: <br />The facility RCRA Part B permit is revised (if applicable). <br />The Contingency Plan fails in an emergency. <br />The facility changes its design or operation, or for other circumstances that <br />materially increases or decreases the potential for fires, explosions, or <br />releases of hazardous waste or hazardous waste constituents, or changes <br />the response necessary in an emergency. <br />The list of emergency coordinators changes. <br />The list of emergency equipment changes. <br />Whenever the Contingency Plan is revised it must be redistributed to the local <br />police, fire departments, local hospitals, and state and local emergency <br />response agencies that may be called upon to provide emergency services. <br />The revised plan must also be submitted to the U.S. EPA or director of the
