Environmental Health Department <br />Underground Storage Tank Program Inspection Report <br />Date: <br />June 12, 2023 <br /> Facility Address: <br /> 505 N MAIN ST, MANTECA <br /> Facility Name: <br /> QUIK STOP MARKET #124 <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />(CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR - Notice to Comply) <br />RemarksItem # <br /> 317 CCR 2636(f)(2) Failure of the line leak detector to detect a 3.0 gph leak at 10 psi and restrict or shut off flow. <br />OBSERVATION: The 87-2 tank #001 line leak detector failed to detect a leak when tested. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: All line leak detectors shall be capable of detecting a 3-gallon per hour leak at 10 psi. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately have a properly licensed, trained, and certified contractor repair or replace the <br />failed leak detector (LG 113-x listed, if applicable) and obtain a permit within one business day from the EHD, if <br />needed. If the failed leak detector can’t be replaced immediately, there is a possibility that the [GRADE] UST <br />system may be red tagged to prevent fuel inputs. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork, by 7/12/2023 . <br />To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead <br />of having them sign. Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate <br />($156).
