All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: The chlorine level in the spa is 29ppm. Immediately adjust the chlorine level of the spa to 3-10ppm or <br />face closure. <br />Neutralizer added by pool tech / chlorine level 0 ppm. <br />Chlorine added / chlorine level 23 ppm <br />Neutralizer added again / chlorine level 3.5ppm. <br />Maintain the chlorine level at 3.0-10.0ppm. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br />the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br />or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br />chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br /> #12 pH Level MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: The pH level of the spa water is greater than 8.0. Take immediate action to reduce the pH of the pool <br />water to the range of 7.2 to 7.8. <br />Pool tech added some acid. <br />pH was re-checked: less than 7.0 <br />Spa closed @ 11:49am <br />Miguel will correct the pH and send photo(s) of correction. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8.
