Environmental Health Department <br />Facility Name and Address: BEST WESTERN HOTEL, 811 W CLOVER RD, TRACY 95376 <br />Swimming Pool Official Inspection Report <br /> #8 Pool and Deck Lighting <br />OBSERVATIONS: The spa light is burned out. Repair/replace the spa light by 2 weeks. <br />REPEAT VIOLATION. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumination of the <br />pool. When a pool is used at night, pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting. If underwater or deck lighting is <br />not operational, the pool operator shall post a sign in 4-inch letters stating "NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK" and shall <br />secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dark. (3115B) <br /> #11 Combined Chlorine Concentration <br />OBSERVATIONS: The combined chlorine level of the pool is 2.5ppm. Take action to reduce the combined chlorine to <br />0.4ppm or less. Correct by 1 week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain combined chlorine concentration below 0.4 ppm. (CCR 65530) Chemical quality <br />of pool water and indoor air quality at the pool site shall not cause adverse physiological effects, such as irritation of the eyes, lungs, or <br />skin. (CCR 65531) <br /> #35 Flow Meters <br />OBSERVATIONS: The flowmeter is "stuck." Repair/replace the flowmeter for the spa by 1 week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Flow meters shall be provided on each recirculation system and shall be installed in accordance with <br />manufacturer's specifications. (CBC 3125B) <br /> #36 Pressure and Vacuum Gauges <br />OBSERVATIONS: The spa filter is missing an effluent gauge. Properly install an effluent gauge by 1 week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pressure and vacuum gauges shall be provided for each pump system.
