Recycled AB will be compacted to 90 % to the finished grade elevation and then
treated / maintained with Lignin ( linosulfonate ) during the dry season to eliminate dust .
Additionally, the project includes developing a detention basin to collect onsite storm
water and diminish the impacts of the project . If this area were to be surfaced with
either asphalt or concrete as described in 9 .406 . 060 ( i ) , this would negate the positive
impact of the detention basin . A significant increase of the required area of the detention
basin would make the bulk of the property unusable . This proposed treatment will
provide a surface that will be maintained as well as being " durable and dust free " as is
the stated premise in 9 -406 . 060 ( i ) . Based on our study of this site and usage , this
design provides for both the intention of the Development Title and serves to protect the
environment best .
Karen Reiss Engineering
CA License # C 61524
400 Del Antico Ave #276 , Oakley CA 94561
( 510 ) 909 - 3169 ksreisspe@gmail . com
2
