All contractors working on this site must be free from communicable diseases including, but <br />not limited to the various forms of hepatitis or Salmonella, Shigella, and Giardia lamblia infections. <br />2. Contractors must adhere to the same level of personal hygiene as apply to Leprino Foods Company’s <br />plant workers, which are those standards ordinarily applied to food manufacturing facilities. <br />3. Hair must be completely enclosed while working within the manufacturing facility, including hallways <br />leading thereto and within. Facial hair must also be complete covered, including sideburns, beards, and <br />moustaches. Hard hats or bump caps must be worn in addition to hairnets. <br />4. Jewelry may not be worn at all. <br />5. Shoe covers & a Tyvek suit must be worn while in the plant. Footbaths and foot foamers are not to <br />be avoided and must not be interfered with. <br />6. Contractors are not allowed to carry on their persons any items which conceivably could become <br />accidentally integrated within product. <br />7. Ear plugs, where worn or needed, must be attached to helmets via the strings. They must be of <br />company issue. If using ear muffs, they must be kept in a clean and sanitary condition. <br />8. Safety glasses and with retention band are required when working within production areas or in the <br />vicinity of chemical storage areas. <br />9. Contractors with visible open sores will not be allowed to work within the manufacturing facility <br />proper. Bandages covering sores must be kept clean and covered. <br />10. Tobacco products of any kind are not permitted within the facility. This means that not only is it <br />impermissible to utilize such products within the facility, it is also impermissible to carry such product on <br />one’s person. <br />11. Contractors must, when working within production facilities, erect proper barriers to protect against <br />accidental product contamination. Where necessary, such protection includes protection against <br />chemical odors.
