Contractors are expected to maintain their work areas in good repair at all times and at the end of <br />each work day they are expected to clean and tidy their work areas. Tools and other equipment must <br />not be placed on the floors directly. Approved white mats with “X” side down may be used as necessary. <br />13. Neither food nor drinks may be consumed within the manufacturing areas. <br />14. Contractors may not store trash within production areas. It must be removed to receptacles outside <br />the manufacturing facility proper. <br />15. Contractors may not bring glass of any type or form (including work lights) into the manufacturing <br />facility, nor are they allowed to bring fluid heavy metals such as mercury within production facilities, <br />e.g. no mercury filled thermometers or gauges. Any broken glass must be reported immediately to <br />Plant Quality Execution Department. <br />16. Shot filled mallets may never be brought into the production facility. <br />17. Toxic agents, carcinogens, mutagens, or teratogens may not be brought into the facility without the <br />prior permission of plant management, which permission will only be granted when requests for same <br />are accompanied by written plans for the safe use, storage, and emergency handling of any such <br />compound. Such compounds may not be utilized within the production facility during manufacturing. <br />18. Paints containing arsenic, lead, mercury, or any other cumulative toxins or phenolic compounds <br />may not be utilized at the facility. <br />19. All chemicals or compounds used by contractors must be properly labeled and an MSDS must be <br />available on-site for all such compounds. <br />20. Supplies and equipment that is stored exterior to the manufacturing facility must always be neat <br />and orderly and not pose a safety hazard to anyone. <br />21. Perforations of facility walls or ceiling must be properly sealed at the end of each working <br />day or whenever such perforations are not being utilized or worked upon. <br />22. Contractors shall not engage in any activity which will or may in any fashion, compromise the <br />integrity of the potable water supply to the facility.
