COMPLAINANT ALSO STATE SHE FELT ILL THE REST OF THE EVENING, NO DOCTOR WAS SEEN. <br />COMPLAINANT STATES SHE DOES NOT BELIEVE THIS FACILITY IS PERMITTED AND STATED THAT THEY ARE <br />LOCATED IN THE PARKING LOT OF DISCOUNT LIQUOR MINI MART AND GET THERE AROUND 10:00AM EVERY <br />MORNING. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodbome illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />#1 Demonstration of Knowledge <br />OBSERVATIONS: Copies of food manager and handler certificates were not available. Provide copies of certificates once <br />obtained to cmuro@sjgov.org or text photo of certificates to 209-561-8923. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All food employees shall have adequate knowledge of and be trained in food safety as it relates to their <br />assigned duties. (113947) Food facilities that prepare, handle or serve non-prepackaged potentially hazardous food, shall have an <br />employee who has passed an approved food safety certification examination. (113947-113947.1) Any food handler hired after June 1, <br />2011 shall obtain a Food Handler Card within 30 days (113948). <br />#7 Hot and Cold Holding Temperatures <br />OBSERVATIONS: All food items observed on 6/27/2023 above 50 F were discarded per operator. The prep cooler was at <br />52 F and with an ice bag at the time of my arrival. Per operator, the cooler had just been turned on. The ice bag was <br />removed from the cooler by operator. Observed the temperature drop to 43 F during the inspection. Repair or adjust cooler <br />to maintain 41 F or below.
