COMPLAINANT STATES THAT HER GRANDDAUGHTER <br />(10) ATE THE FETTUCCINE AND AROUND 2AM-4AM BEGAN VOMITING AND DIARRHEA. COMPLAINANT ALSO STATES THAT SHE WENT TO <br />CHECK THE LEFT OVER FETTUCCINE THEY BROUGHT HOME AFTER HER GRANDDAUGHTER GOT SICK AND FOUND THAT IT SMELLED <br />RANCID. NO DOCTOR WAS SEEN. Discussed complaint and was granted MURO <br />access to inspect facility. Inspected the cooked fettuccine stored at 41 F inside the <br />walk-in cooler. The cooked fettuccine containers were observed with labels <br />containing the date cooked and held within the 2 - day storage time per BJ's shelf <br />life limit. Per manager, the alfredo sauce for the fettuccine is not prepared on site. <br />It is shipped prepackaged frozen and stored frozen until ready for heating. After <br />the alfredo sauce has been heated, it is transferred to the steam table for hot <br />holding. The alfredo sauce was observed at 162 F. No major violation was <br />identified in the food prep, food storage, or food handling for the fettuccine. None <br />of the employees have been sick per manager.
