All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br /> #2 Employee Communicable Disease Controls MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed two children inside the facility. Discontinue practice. Ensure facility is practicing food and <br />personal safety by excluding non-food handlers in the kitchen and service areas. Corrected on Site. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Employees with a communicable disease shall be excluded from the food facility / preparation of food. Gloves <br />shall be worn if an employee has cuts, wounds, and rashes. No employee shall commit any act that may contaminate or adulterate food, <br />food contact surface, or utensils. (113949.5). The permit holder shall require food employees to report incidents of illness or injury and <br />comply with all applicable restrictions. (113949.2, 113950,113950.5, 113973(a)) <br /> #6 Handwashing Facilities Supplied and Accessible MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed empty cans and empty bottles inside the hand sink making it inaccessible. Discontinue <br />practice immediately. Maintain the hand sink accessible at all times to ensure employees are washing their hands as <br />needed. Corrected On Site. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Handwashing soap and towels or drying device shall be provided in dispensers dispensers shall be <br />maintained in good repair. (113953.2) Adequate facilities shall be provided for hand washing, food preparation and the washing of <br />utensils and equipment. (113953, 113953.1, 114067(f)) <br /> #14 Food Contact Surfaces Sanitized or Warewashing Sanitization <br />OBSERVATIONS: A sanitizing solution bucket with wiping cloth was not set up at the facility. Provide bucket with sanitizing <br />solution and wiping cloth when food prep is taking place. Ensure the solution has a concentration of either: chlorine 100 - <br />200 Parts Per Million (PPM), or quaternary ammonia (quats) 200 - 400 Parts Per Million (PPM) for proper sanitation of all <br />food preparation and contact surfaces. Correct today. <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />Sanitizing test strips were not available at the facility. Obtain sanitizing test strips to ensure sanitizing solution has sufficient <br />concentration for proper sanitation of food prep surfaces and kitchenware.
