Findinos for Ganaral Plan Amendments (A/G to 1/Wl <br />The proposed amendment will contribute to the public health, safety, antl general <br />welfare or will be of benefit to the public_ <br />This finding can be made because the location is nearby to a major transportation access <br />route and the parte/ size is sufficient in size for permitted //W /and uses as outlined under <br />the 2035 Genera/ P/an Chapter 3. ! Community Oave/opment E/amant, Warehouse <br />/ndustria/ (//V17, page 3.1-53. 1, of Po/icy Oocumant Part 3: Goa/s and Pc/icias. The <br />proposed //W Ganara/ P/an �asignation is intended to accommodate warehouses and <br />service establishments with the primary use of sewage dispose/ systems through the use <br />of septic tanKs, without the production of industrial wastes. The proposed amendment <br />wou/d benefit the pub/ic and he/p to support the local economy by creating additiona/ trucK <br />and storage areas. <br />The proposed amendment is consistent with the General Plan goals, unless the <br />goals themselves are proposed to be amended. <br />This finding can be made because the proposed //W Genera/ P/an designation for the <br />project sites) are consistent with the Genera/ P/an, as they are located one-ha/f mi/e from <br />State f2oute 99 Nigh way interchange and Basi/y accassib/a for truck transportation /and <br />uses and will a/so provide additiona/ opportunities for businesses in San Joaquin County. <br />The undadying project is interna//y consistent with Genera/ P/an Goa/ LU -6, which is to <br />promote the love/opment of new industrial and employment uses in the unincorporated <br />areas of the County that era compatib/e with surrounding /and uses and meet the present <br />and future needs of County residents. /n addition, the proposed site is located outside of <br />areas planned for urban development. <br />The proposed amendment retains the internal consistency of the G®neral Plan and <br />is consistent with other adopted plans, unless a concurrent amendment to those <br />plans is also proposed and will result in consistency. <br />This finding can ba made because the proposed //W Genera/ P/an designation is <br />consistent with the Genera/ P/an, any app/icab/e Master P/ens, and any app/icab/a <br />Specific P/an. The proposed //W Ganara/ P/an c/assification requires that lave/opment <br />be located on a Major Collector or higher c/assification roadway, or a/ong a highway <br />frontage road. Both project areas in this propose/ meet these criteria as APN: 013-220- <br />58, has direct access a/ong a highway frontage road and APN: Ola -220-13, has frontage <br />along Woodbridge Road, which is a Major Collector roadway. A/so, both project sites <br />meet the minimum lot area requirement of 2.0 acres. The interna/ consistency of the <br />Genera/ P/an and locational criteria have been met by this propose/. <br />
