<br /> 1. Piezometers sampled only if the associated "A" well is dry.
<br /> 2. Shallow wells are screened at elevations greater than -50 feet relative to MSL.
<br /> 3. Intermediate wells are screened at elevations of -50 to -125 feet relative to MSL.
<br /> 4. Deep wells are screened at elevations less than -125 feet relative to MSL.
<br /> 5. Point of Compliance wells are MW-1A, MW-13A, MW-14A, MW-15, MW-21, MW-25,
<br /> MW-26 and AMW-5R.
<br /> 50. As of the date of this Order, the Facility's unsaturated zone monitoring network
<br /> consists of the existing and proposed monitoring points listed in Table 4. See
<br /> Monitoring Network Map in Attachment D.
<br /> 51. Landfill units built after 2001 are constructed with pan lysimeters below the
<br /> landfill sump as a final check of the integrity of the base liner. Landfill units built
<br /> above old Austin Road have a suction lysimeter in addition to the pan lysimeter.
<br /> The use of suction cup lysimeters has been discontinued and will not be installed
<br /> on any future WMUs.
