DRAFT [TENTATIVE] WASTE DISCHARGE REQUIREMENTS ORDER R5-2023-OOXX 39 <br /> FORWARD, INC. <br /> FORWARD LANDFILL <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> Waste Category WMUs WMUs WMUs Surface Cannery <br /> Class Class Class Impoundments Waste <br /> 1 II III Land <br /> Application <br /> Area <br /> Asbestos-Containing No Yes Yes No No <br /> Waste (>1%) <br /> Wastes containing at least 1 <br /> percent of non-friable <br /> asbestos particles. <br /> Treated Wood Waste No Yes Yes No No <br /> Wood treated with chemical <br /> preservatives that are: <br /> (i) administered for <br /> protection against insects, <br /> microorganisms, fungi, and <br /> other conditions leading to <br /> decay; and (ii) registered <br /> under the Federal <br /> Insecticide, Fungicide and <br /> Rodenticide Act. (Title 22, <br /> section 67386.4). <br /> 2. The Discharger shall promptly remove and relocate all waste discharged <br /> at the Facility in violation of this Order. The Discharger shall submit a <br /> report to the Central Valley Water Board explaining how the violative <br /> discharge(s) occurred and propose a method for its removal. <br /> 3. Treated Wood Waste shall only be discharged to landfill WMUs specified <br /> above in Section 13.1 and Finding 20. The Discharger shall manage such <br /> waste in accordance with Health & Safety Code section 25230 et seq., <br /> and otherwise comply with Title 22, section 67386.3. In the event of a <br /> verified release from an authorized WMU containing treated wood waste, <br /> the Discharger shall suspend all discharges of treated wood waste until <br /> corrective action ceases the release. <br /> 4. For landfill WMUs, the Discharger shall only use the materials described in <br /> Finding 27 as an ADC, provided that other materials may be used if <br />
