<br />2 of 2 <br />Environmental Health Department <br /> <br /> <br />Description of Project and LEA’s Determination <br />Foothill Sanitary Landfill is a 674-acre existing solid waste facility located at 6484 N Waverly <br />Road in unincorporated San Joaquin County. On December 4, 2025, the LEA received an <br />application package amending the Joint Technical Document (JTD). <br />The amendment changes the facility operator from Foothill Sanitary Landfill Inc. to San Joaquin <br />County Public Works, Solid Waste Division. The amendment updates the employee descriptions, <br />qualifications and training. The amendment adds a Worksite Emergency Plan. <br />The LEA finds that the proposed changes are consistent with all applicable certified and/or <br />adopted CEQA documents, is consistent with State Minimum Standards, and does not conflict <br />with the terms and conditions in the current solid waste facilities permit. The LEA approved the <br />amendment on December 11, 2025. <br /> <br />Where a copy of the application can be reviewed <br /> <br />A copy of the approved application for the Joint Technical Document amendment is available <br />for public review by appointment in the LEA office located at 1868 E.
