There are areas of <br /> Short-eared meadows, and irrigated alfalfa tule and bulrush patches within 1.5 miles of the Project <br /> Asio flammeus None SSC site which could provide daytime seclusion for this <br /> owl fields. Tule patches/tall grass species; however, this species is unlikely to use the <br /> needed for nesting/daytime Project site for nesting because the dominant <br /> seclusion. vegetation is annually grazed grassland and low-lying <br /> forbs.
