Water Supply Assessment Griffith Energy Storage Project <br /> In compliance with California Senate Bill 610 and amended Water Code sections 10910 and 10912, <br /> certain development projects require land use planning entities to assess the availability of water supplies <br /> from public water system that will provide water for the proposed project. <br /> Per California Water Code Section 10910(a), a Water Supply Assessment(WSA) is required for a project <br /> for which an environmental impact report, negative declaration, or mitigated negative declaration will be <br /> prepared for the purposes of CEQA compliance. California Water Code Section 10912(a)(5) defines a <br /> project as"A proposed industrial manufacturing, or processing plant, or industrial park planned to house <br /> more than 1,000 persons, occupying more than 40 acers of land, or having more than 650,000 square <br /> feet of floor area." <br /> The Griffith Energy Storage Project(Project)falls under this description of a project which requires a <br /> Water Supply Assessment. <br /> OTETRA TECH III February 2023 <br />
