Soil Suitability and Nitrate Loading Evaluation Page 4
25071 South Lammers Road
Tracy, California
June 16, 2023 NATS Job No. 22-355G
remained in the hole at test time. Percolation testing was performed on December 21,
2022 at which time test P-1 was certified by the San Joaquin County Environmental
Health Department (Figure-3). The percolation rate obtained from testing within P-1
resulted in a percolation of 30 min/inch which is within the range required for standard
designs. The percolation test results have been converted to infiltration rate and
calculations are included in Appendix A, attached. The location of the percolation test
hole and exploratory boring are shown on the "Exploration Map", attached as Figure-2.
5.0 GROUNDWATER
Observations were made for the presence of groundwater in the exploratory test hole
(Boring-1) at the time of field exploration and upon completion on 12/20/22.
Groundwater was not encountered within the test hole which was drilled to a maximum
depth of 15± ft below existing ground surface (begs).
Based on information contained on the California Groundwater Information Center Map
site (https:Hgis.water.ca.gov/app/gicima/), ground water flows toward the south and
most recent groundwater depth (estimated based on groundwater contours) is
indicated to be at approximately 146± feet depth (spring 2022). The highest
groundwater level shown on well logs in the vicinity of the site is indicated to be 16± ft
depth (1975). Based on above, high groundwater could be expected to rise to a depth
of 16±ft within the life of the proposed leach field.
4713 ENTERPRISE WAY * SUITE 4 *MODESTO * CALIFORNIA * 95356 * 209-545-1108
