All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br /> #6 Handwashing Facilities Supplied and Accessible <br />OBSERVATIONS: The following was observed: <br />- The handsink next to the ice machine was observed with a bar of soap and the paper towel dispenser in disrepair. <br />- The restroom handsink lacked soap and paper towels, and the soap and paper towel dispensers were in disrepair. <br />Repair/replace soap and paper towel dispensers so that they are in good working order and stocked at all times. Provide <br />liquid or powder soap at hand sinks. Bar soap is not approved. Correct today. (REPEAT) <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Handwashing soap and towels or drying device shall be provided in dispensers dispensers shall be <br />maintained in good repair. (113953.2) Adequate facilities shall be provided for hand washing, food preparation and the washing of <br />utensils and equipment. (113953, 113953.1, 114067(f)) <br /> #8 Use of Time as a Public Health Control <br />OBSERVATIONS: Time control logs were lacking for eggs and cheese across from cooking equipment. Food shall be <br />marked or a log shall be kept when food is removed from temperature control and the four hour time limit has been reached. <br />Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: When time only, rather than time and temperature is used as a public health control, records and <br />documentation must be maintained (114000) <br /> #23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed rodent droppings on the floor under the red and black shelves with soda syrups boxes and <br />surrounding areas. Clean and sanitize area immediately. Increase pest control measures.
