Telephone: (209)235-0558 <br /> Program Element: 1600- FOOD PROGRAM Complaint#: C00056151 <br /> Responsible Party Contact: <br /> DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br /> COMPLAINANT VISITED FACILITY ON 10/1 AND GRABBED A PACK OF NECK BONES AND NOTICED THEY WERE <br /> NOT FROZEN AND THEY HAD A FOUL ODOR. COMPLAINANT REALIZED THAT NONE OF THE MEATS WERE <br /> FROZEN AND THE FREEZERS WERE NOT WORKING. THEY WERE STILL SELLING THE MEATS DESPITE THE <br /> FREEZERS NOT WORKING. COMPLAINANT BROUGHT IT TO THE ATTENTION OF AN EMPLOYEE WHO TOLD HER <br /> THAT THIS HAS BEEN OCCURRING A LOT IN THE PAST 6 MONTHS AND THAT THEY STACK THE NEW MEAT ON <br /> TOP OF THE OLD MEAT INSTEAD OF ROTATING IT. <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> FOOD ITEM--LOCATION--TEMP°F--COMMENTS <br /> walk around open cooler--meat dept--41.00°F <br /> COMMENTS AND OBSERVATIONS <br /> Arrived on site and met with management. Discussed reason of site visit and conducted routine inspection of facility. <br /> Observed meat department walk around coolers and freezers. Observed neck bones were stored in walk around coolers. Per <br /> management these products are set in coolers and not in freezers. Observed temperature of cooler with neck bones to be 41 <br /> F. No foul smell observed. No expired products observed.
