The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for AAMCO TRANSMISSION as of December 19, 2023. <br /> Open violations from October 30, 2023 inspection <br /> Violation#605-Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling. The containers <br /> were:Two 55-gallon used oil drums were missing hazardous properties, physical state and accumulation start date. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br /> action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD)within 30 days. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#608-Failed to properly manage used oil filters or fuel filters. <br /> OBSERVATION: Containers of used metal oil or fuel filters out of compliance with the storage rules were observed <br /> on-site.A 55-gallon drum of drained oil filters observed on-site, open and without label.There were no disposal <br /> records for the last three years for drained oil filters. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: <br /> Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66266.130 Management of Used Oil Filters. <br /> California Health&Safety Code section 25250.22 Fuel Filters <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Label the container with the words"drained used oil filters"or"used gasoline filters", <br /> depending on the contents. Mark the container with an accumulation start date. Dispose of all used filters stored <br /> on-site greater than one year. Used filters not stored, handled and disposed of according to this section are <br /> regulated as hazardous waste.
