<br /> OBSERVATIONS:Distance between the Deli Department prep sink and 3 comp sink is less than 24 inches. Provide splash
<br /> guard to be at least 6 inches high from back edge to front edge. Correct before operating.
<br /> *The hand washing and food preparation sinks shall be separated from the ware washing sink or food preparation/storage
<br /> areas by a metal splash guard, if separation is less than twenty-four(24)inches. Splash guard shall be at least six(6)
<br /> inches in height from back edge to front edge [CRFC§113953].*
<br /> Pipe draining the the dish washer, at the back Deli Department, in the floor sink underneath the 3 comp sink, is lacking air
<br /> gap. provide air gap at least 1 inch off the floor sink. Correct before operating.

<br /> OBSERVATIONS: I observe gaps at the junction of the galvanized stainless steel coved base sheets and the floor in all the
<br /> walk in coolers and walk in freezers. Seal the gaps before operating.
<br /> Sales floor coffee, soda machine stations and the inside walk in cooler are lacking proper coving. Provide proper coving
<br /> before operating.
<br /> *The floor surfaces in all food preparation or packaging areas, open food storage areas, utensil washing areas, refuse
<br /> storage areas, janitorial areas, and all restrooms and employee change areas, shall be smooth and of durable construction
<br /> and nonabsorbent material which is easily cleaned. These floor surfaces shall be coved at the juncture at the floor and wall
<br /> with a three-eighths(3/8)inch minimum radius coving and shall extend up the wall at least four(4)inches. Rubber or vinyl
<br /> top set base is not permitted in these areas [CRFC§114268].*
<br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:The walls/ceilings shall have durable,smooth,nonabsorbent,light-colored,and washable surfaces. All floor
<br /> surfaces, other than the customer service areas, shall be approved, smooth,durable and made of nonabsorbent material that is easily
<br /> cleanable.Approved base coving shall be provided in all areas,except customer service areas and where food is stored in original
<br /> unopened containers. Food facilities shall be fully enclosed. All food facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair. (114143(d),
