(Arcadis) has prepared this Quarterly Corrective Action Progress <br />Report (Progress Report) for the Austin Road Unit of the Forward Landfill. This Progress Report covers the First <br />Quarter of 2023 (January 1 to March 31, 2023). It summarizes the information required in Task 9.a of Cleanup <br />and Abatement Order (CAO) R5-2017-0703 (the CAO), issued by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality <br />Control Board (Water Board) on April 10, 2017. <br />The information provided in this Progress Report has been compiled from multiple sources, including Forward, <br />Inc. personnel, consultants responsible for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of the Austin Road Unit <br />groundwater extraction and treatment system (GWTS), and consultants responsible for the O&M of the facility's <br />landfill gas (LFG) extraction and destruction system. <br />Work Completed This Quarter <br />The following work was completed during First Quarter of 2023: <br />• The Forward Landfill Groundwater Treatment System Report for Fourth Quarter 2022 was submitted on <br />January 12, 2023. <br />• The Fourth Quarter 2022 Groundwater Treatment System Monitoring Report was submitted to the Water <br />Board on January 12, 2023. <br />• The Quarterly Corrective Action Progress Report for the Fourth Quarter of 2022 was submitted to the Water <br />Board on January 13, 2023. <br />• The Quarterly Residential Groundwater Treatment System Report for Fourth Quarter 2022 was submitted on <br />January 26, 2023. <br />• The Exceedance of Concentration Limits for Fourth Quarter 2022 was submitted on January 31, 2023. <br />• The Quarterly Water Quality Monitoring Report for Fourth Quarter 2022 was submitted on February 1, 2023. <br />1/4 <br />
