15 May 2019
AGE Project No. 14-3002
• Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline, diesel and oil range
compounds (TPH-g/d/o) in accordance with EPA Method 8015 Modified.
• Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs - full list) in accordance with EPA Method 8082.
• Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and semi-volatile organic compounds
(SVOCs) in accordance with EPA Method 8270.
• California Assessment Metals (CAM 17) Total Threshold Limit Concentration
(TTLC) in accordance with EPA Method 6010B/7470A/7471A and Soluble
Threshold Limit Concentration (STLC).
• Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in accordance with EPA Method 8260B.
• Dioxin and Furan (D/F) in accordance with EPA Method E1613.
• Hexavalent chromium by Waste Extraction Test using deionized water (DI WET)
in accordance with EPA Method 218.6.

Groundwater samples were analyzed for the following additional constituents:

• Ammonia, total as Nitrogen (ammonia) in accordance with EPA Method 350.1.
• Nitrate as Nitrogen in accordance with EPA Method 300.1.
• Total dissolved solids (TDS) in accordance with Method SM2540C.
• Hexavalent chromium in accordance with EPA Method 218.6.

Soil and waste samples were not analyzed from every boring. Several borings were
advanced for the sole purpose of defining the limits of buried waste encountered.
Representative samples were analyzed from borings adjacent to these borings
(Section 3.0).

3.4. BORING ABANDONMENT

Following sample collection, each boring was permanently sealed to prevent vertical
migration of potential contaminants. Soil borings were abandoned by backfilling with
Portland cement from the total depth to surface grade.

4.0. MONITORING WELL INSTALLATION

On 02 April 2019, groundwater monitoring wells MW -1 through MW-4 were installed at
the site to determine groundwater flow direction and gradient. Wells MW -1 through MW -4
were installed to total depths of 20 feet bsg.
