SAN 10 A Q U I N Environmental Health Department <br /> COUNTY <br /> • One of several permissible valid , current contractor licenses issued by the Contractors <br /> State License Board (CSLB ) <br /> • A current UST Installation/Retrofitting certificate issued by the International Code Council <br /> ( ICC) <br /> • A valid , current certificate of training from the manufacturer( s) of the component (s ) being <br /> installed <br /> 5 . Any individual performing the work of a service technician must possess , or work under the direct <br /> and personal supervision of an individual physically present at the work site at all times while <br /> work is being performed who possesses , all of the following : <br /> • One of several permissible valid , current contractor licenses issued by the CSLB <br /> • A current California UST Service Technician certificate issued by the ICC <br /> • A valid , current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the component( s) being <br /> tested , or the developer of the testing equipment or test method (s) being used <br /> 6 . Individuals working under the direct supervision of a qualified UST installer or UST service <br /> technician must , at a minimum , be employed by the person with the CSLB license and possess <br /> all manufacturer certificates of training for the equipment on which they are working . <br /> 7 . The tank owner or operator shall log into the California Environmental Reporting System <br /> ( CERS ) at http : //cers . calepa . ca . gov/ and ensure all UST information is current . <br /> 8 . All primary containment including any integral secondary containment must be certified by an <br /> independent testing organization and labeled as required by the organization ( UL , ULC , ANSI , <br /> API , ASTM , etc . ) . See California Code of Regulations ( CCR) Title 23 , Chapter 16 , Table B for <br /> a complete list . <br /> 9 . All secondary containment system which is not an integral part of the primary containment shall <br /> be designed and constructed according to an engineering specification approved by a state <br /> registered professional engineer or according to a nationally recognized industry code or <br /> engineering standard , per CCR 2631 (d ) . <br /> 10 . This permit expires 180 days from the date of approval .
