groundwater management plan . <br /> d ) The project site is located within a Federal Emergency Management Agency Designated Flood Hazard Area Zone <br /> " x ( 500 ) , " flood designation area , which is defined as areas of 0 . 2 percent annual chance ( 500 -year) flood . A referral <br /> was sent to the Department of Public Works , Flood Control Division on September 1 , 2023 , for comments . If approved , <br /> any new developments will have to comply with Development Title Section 9 -703 regarding flood hazards . <br /> The project will not substantially decrease groundwater supplies or interfere substantially with groundwater recharge . <br /> The project will not substantially alter the existing drainage pattern of the site or area , including through the alteration <br /> of the course of a stream or river or through the addition of impervious surfaces , in a manner which would result in <br /> substantial erosion or siltation on - or off-site ; substantially increase the rate or amount of surface runoff in a manner <br /> which would result in flooding on - or off- site ; create or contribute runoff water which would exceed the capacity of <br /> existing or planned stormwater drainage systems or provide substantial additional sources of polluted runoff; or <br /> impede or redirect flood flows . Additionally , the proposed project would not risk release of pollutants in flood hazard , <br /> tsunami , or seiche zones . As a result, impacts related to flooding are anticipated to be less than significant . <br /> 20 <br />
