Environmental Health Department <br /> SAN-JOAQUI <br /> --COUNTY- <br /> COMPLAINT <br /> COUNTY- <br /> COMPLAINT INSPECTION REPORT <br /> Name of Facility: THE BOATHOUSE Date: 05/13/2024 <br /> Address: 980 Lakeside , LATHROP 95330 <br /> Owner/Operator: SHAHEN, SHELLEY Telephone: (209)599-3400 <br /> Program Element: 1600- FOOD PROGRAM Complaint#: CO2400100 <br /> Responsible Party Contact: <br /> DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br /> Complainant went to restaurant and ordered water for the table and saw black stuff floating in the ice water.When they <br /> received the food it was foul tasting and 1 person got sick with upset stomach and another person vomitted immediately and <br /> continued at home. Complainant ordered potato salad, salmon (had a bad taste, possibly old not fresh), and pasta salad. <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate <br /> #7 Hot and Cold Holding Temperatures <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The potato salad and the pasta salad at the 3 door True reach-in are 49F. Decrease the temperature of these <br /> foods to 41 F or below. Correct today. <br /> Pasta salad and potato salad were voluntarily discarded. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Potentially hazardous foods shall be held at or below 41/45°F or at or above 135°F.(113996, 113998, <br /> 114037, 114343(a)) <br /> #27 Food Protected from Contamination <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Observed four hanging fly strips in the warewash area (dish pit). Discontinue the use of hanging fly strips in <br /> the warewash area. Correct today. <br /> The container of pasta salad in the 3 door True is uncovered. Maintain foods containerized or covered.
