The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for PELICAN RENEWABLES LLC as of May 01, 2024. <br /> Open violations from October 26, 2022 inspection <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#303-Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems,spill control,or decontamination <br /> equipment. <br /> OBSERVATION: The secondary containment had visible oily liquid. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All facility spill control equipment shall be maintained as necessary to assure its proper <br /> operation in time of emergency. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Bring the secondary containment into proper working order by removing the liquid in the <br /> secondary containment and placing in the proper waste container. Provide a corrective action statement to the <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#403-Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing <br /> hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following open hazardous waste storage containers were observed on-site: <br /> -5-gallon yellow bucket containing oily liquid and a filter outside of the maintenance area. <br /> -5-gallon yellow bucket with a white lid containing oily liquid. <br /> -Black 55-gallon metal drum labeled'hazardous solids'. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A container holding hazardous waste shall always be closed during transfer and <br /> storage, except when it is necessary to add or remove waste. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are <br /> closed when not adding or removing waste. Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation <br /> to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> Page 2 of 4 <br />
