Attachment I of the Work Plan found some organic debris and refuse within the
trenches on the property. Although no landfill gases were found in the October
2002 Study in those trenches, there still exists a potential due to these contents.
As such, we suggest that the trenching activities be monitored for methane as a
health and safety precaution. Results from the monitoring should be included in
the final technical report.
5. The final technical report should also include detailed trench logs along with the
photographs. The trench logs should show the depth and condition of the cover,
description and depth of the waste, and description and location of where native
is encountered both vertically and laterally. The lateral edges of the waste should
be GPS so the data can be used to produce a more accurate map showing the
lateral limits of the waste.
Please contact myself or Sabra Ambrose by e-mail at
Sabra.Ambrose(&-caI recycle.ca.gov or by phone at (916) 341-6352 if you have any
questions.
Sincerely,
Stephanie Young Digitally signed by Stephanie Young
Date:2024.04.26 09:36:48-07'00'
Stephanie Young, PE
Senior Waste Management Engineer
CalRecycle
CC (by email only):
Sabra Ambrose, CalRecycle, sabra.ambrose@calrecycle.ca.gov
1001 1 Street, Sacramento, CA 95814 1 P.O.
