SAN 10 A Q U I N Environmental Health Department
COUNTY
technical report.
5. The final technical report should also include detailed trench logs along with the
photographs. The trench logs should show the depth and condition of the cover,
description and depth of the waste, and description and location of where native is
encountered both vertically and laterally. The lateral edges of the waste should be
GPS so the data can be used to produce a more accurate map showing the lateral
limits of the waste.
6. Employees must receive training to recognize hazardous materials/waste in order to
conduct site work. The training must include proper handling of unknown hazardous
materials/wastes.
7. The excavated soil cannot be used on-site as fill material. Only clean soil shall be used
for the backfilling. All onsite stockpiles must be covered before transporting for off-site
disposal. The excavated/open areas should be covered/secured.
8. The Work Plan does not indicate if dust suppression will be used during the excavation.
9. All site activities shall be in the presence of the LEA staff. LEA should be notified at
least 5 working days prior to ensure enough time is provided to accommodate their
staff's schedule.
