48
Hello

Below is the list of responses that we received from K12 Architects on August 11, 2023, in response to the deficiency list
provided by the EHD on June 13, 2023. The comments from K12 are in red, and the new comments from the EHD are in blue. I
do see that a new set of plans was submitted on October 2, 2023, these comments below are for the previous set of
submittals. In the interest of expediency, before I start reviewing the October 2 nd submittal in detail, please let me know if any
revisions from the comments below, will impact the sheets that you already submitted on Oct 2 nd and I will wait to review it
all at once when I receive updated sheets. Please be sure to “cloud” all the plan changed either related to my comments or
completely unrelated, identifying changes, this helps with review and speeds up the response.

Also, here are the comments that were emailed on 9/28/2023:

1. Provide all certifications for the installer and tester, previously submitted certifications are for the old contractor
2. #1 from the previous deficiency list is still outstanding
3. Sheet CO lists 30K and 6K/24K/6K, buoyancy lists 24/6K and 6K/20K/6K, sheet T&L1 lists 6K/20K/6K
4. Need tank charts and overfill calculations
5. T&L1 lists zone 5 as DEF, which is supposed to be single-walled, correct zones.
6. The parts list cross reference lists wrong parts throughout the plans, I will provide some examples once I provide all
the comments on Tuesday.

Response to comments from August 2023 submittals are in blue:

1. Provide updated service requests and permit applications to remove MVP, this should also
include correct billing information and a fire permit number (provide a front page of the approved
permit). All appropriate checkboxes and monitoring details should be indicated. We have not chosen a contractor
yet. When we have we will update all these forms. EHD: Still need, be sure to include a valid fire permit for thanks
installation.
2. Provide ELD workplan This is done by the contractor. EHD: Still need,
3. Provide tank charts and overfill calculations See attached sheets. EHD: We didn’t receive this information with
the August 11 submittal from K12, however, it appears that we received tank charts with the October 2, 2023
submittal. No overfill calculations were provided and are still needed. Though the exact dimensions may not be
known, a sample calculation for the proposed overfill method is still needed.
4. Sheet T&L1 lists 24k/6k tank and Sheet CO lists 20K/6k tank. The cover sheet is new, revised the scope of work.
EHD: Sheet CO submitted on 8/11/2023 by K12 lists “THERE IS A 32K TANK, SPLIT 6K FOR DIESEL #2, 24K FOR B20
DIESEL, 6K FOR DEF.” Based on 6+24+6, the tank should be 36K, please clarify tank capacities. Sheet T&L1, note 18
lists a 32000-gallon double wall tank 6K DEF/20K diesel/6K diesel, for a total of 32K. This original EHD’s comment
