5

Wonderful speaking with you this afternoon! I have laid out the proposed Truchek plan as per our
discussion below. Please confirm with a reply all that it is acceptable for us to start the Truchek early so
that your team is able to witness the finish and the remainder of the testing tomorrow.

I cannot speak to the availability onsite but would hazard a guess that 8am is sufficient.

In response to your questions:
1. For the 10h test, we would like your permission to start early such that it can finalize while your
team is on site. To help alleviate concerns, we will document with photos the initial level and
have the level noted in permanent marker on the riser. This will mean that the interstice
continuity test will be watching the brine drop vs watching it climb.
2. All brine currently in the tank AND to be added comes from Xerxes. Fiberglass Unlimited (techs
onsite) uses only pre-mixed brine directly from Xerxes plants. Xerxes brine is identifiable by it’s
green-blue colouring.
3. The riser will be placed on the end compartment which is a separate compartment from the brine
reservoir. There will be a visible seam on the outside between the reservoir and temporary riser
that the techs can point out to your team.
4. Time will be needed to repair the riser, so depending on the timing and the response to point #1,
we may need to schedule that test for another day.

The testing to be concluded tomorrow shall be 10h Truchek testing, witnessing of the brine level change
during brine addition/removal to confirm interstice continuity, a primary pressure test on all 3
compartments and I believe the sump top integrity & secondary piping testing by Town and Country.

Regards,
Shelley Gibson
Product Engineer
Xerxes

Mobile: 780-887-8743
Shelley.Gibson@mattr.com
www.mattr.com | www.xerxes.com

1103 Parsons Road SW, Edmonton, Alberta, T6X 0X2, Canada

Xerxes places the highest priority on the security and privacy of our Clients.
