Santa Fe Road, Escalon, Ca <br />Corrective Action Plan <br />Pursuant to PRC Sections 45000, 45005, and 45011 we have been ordered to submit a corrective action plan <br />detailing how the 23701 S. Santa Fe Road site will be brought into compliance stipulated by the San Joaquin <br />County Environmental Health Department. Listed below are the requirements previously set forth followed <br />by our plan of correction. <br />1. Title 27 CCR Section 20530 - Site Security: Repair, maintain, and secure the fence to prevent <br />unauthorized access to the site and to prevent illegal disposal of solid waste on the property. <br />We plan to continue our current, ongoing routine to repair and maintain the fence as needed. As this <br />area receives many trespassers and dumpers, we will continue monitoring (and repairing if necessary) <br />very frequently, approximately once a week, so that a consistently secure barrier will always be <br />maintained around the property. There is also posted "No Trespassing" signs at least every 500 feet of <br />the fence line. As requested, we installed a gate at the front entrance for security. <br />2. Title 27 CCR Section 20650 Grading of Fill Surfaces, Improper Grading of Fill Surfaces <br />and Title 27 CCR Section 20820 Drainage/Erosion Control. Improper drainage, erosion Control <br />Project Premise: The property is currently sloped such that there is a high point near the middle and a <br />low point where the "waste" currently lies below the ground. To correct this, we plan on using small <br />earth -moving equipment (such as tractors and scrapers) to move the earth from the high point to the <br />low point. We will move enough earth to essentially create a high spot above the potential "waste" <br />area and the surrounding area will become low lying area. If waste is encountered during the grading <br />operation then work must stop. The area will be marked off and the plan will be amended to include <br />mitigation or removal by an approved company. <br />• Encountering Waste: Based on previous sampling and reports, the project should involve the <br />movement of "clean" dirt only, however in the event we encounter waste, we will stop and inspect the <br />waste. If, during inspection, the waste is deemed hazardous, we will have the following contacts on <br />call for inspection, consultation, and hazmat removal. <br />John P.
