Special Construction (2-9003 and 9012) <br />Temporary training pool: max.depth 3 ft. <br />Wading pool: max. depth 18 in. with max. sideuall depth 12 in. <br />Temporary training pool: (a) complies with 2-9011. <br />Installed on a paved level surface which extends min. 10 ft. beyond pool wall. <br />Provided with a solid cover that will support 40 lbs./sq.ft. <br />Pool and cover designed by a registered engineer. <br />TB. Special Geometry (2-9013) <br />Special use pools permitted a depth greater than 3 1/2 ft. at shallow end. <br />TC. Inlets (2-9042) <br />1. Need not be 18 in. below water level in wading pools. <br />TF. Water Supply (2-9035) <br />1. Temporary pools and pools of less than 1500 gals. are exempt from having permanently <br />installed line. <br />TK. Handholds (2-9016) <br />1. Not required at wading pools. <br />For special use pools used for instruction or competitive swimming, rim similar to overflow <br />gutter is required. <br />TN. Decks (2-9018) <br />1. Tenporary training pool: deck may be omitted. If raised deck provided, handrail required at <br />per <br />Ti'. Signs and Safety Equipment (2-9025 and 722-65539) <br />Wading pools are exempt from occupant load requirement. <br />"No Diving Allowed" sign not required at wading pools. <br />Wading pools: body hook not required. <br />Special use pools: when required should be 1 for approx. 2000 sq.ft. of pool surface (APHA). <br />Wading pools: life ring not required. <br />Special use pools: when required should be 1 for approx. 2000 sq.ft. of pool surface (APHA). <br />12 Elevated life guard chairs, when required, should be 1 for approx. every 2500 sq.ft. of <br />pool surface (APHA). <br />13.
