Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> This is (Minor)Violation. <br /> 27 CA Code of Regulations 66262.34(d)(2)3030019- Inspects all hazardous waste storage areas at least weekly. <br /> OBSERVATION:The following facility hazardous waste containers are not inspected weekly: <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum observed in the hazardous waste storage area with liquid on top <br /> -One white poly 55 gallon drum containing used oil in the hazardous waste storage area with large black staining <br /> around it <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum containing used oil filters in the hazardous waste storage area are overflowing <br /> -One blue poly 55 gallon drum containing used oil in the hazardous waste storage area observed with liquid, <br /> absorbent observed on the floor in the surrounding area <br /> -Two red metal 100 gallons tanks in the hazardous materials area are observed with absorbents on the floor <br /> surrounding it <br /> - Multiple 5 gallons containers are observed to contain used oil and used oil filters <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:The owner or operator shall inspect areas used for container storage or transfer, at least <br /> weekly, looking for leaking containers and for deterioration of containers and the containment system caused by <br /> corrosion or other factors. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately,the following containers need to be closed and maintain.The waste needs to <br /> be transferred to containers in good conditions.
