The emergency response <br /> procedures did not provide locations for emergency response equipment inventory list for some items listed. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A business plan shall include the following emergency response procedures for a release <br /> or threatened release of hazardous materials, including, but not limited to, the following: <br /> -immediate notification of local emergency personnel and the Environmental Health Department(EHD) <br /> -procedures for the mitigation of a release or threatened release to minimize any potential harm or damage to <br /> persons, property, or the environment <br /> -evacuation plans and procedures, including immediate notice,for the site <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS)at <br /> http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, upload the correct or updated information, and submit to the EHD for approval. <br /> This is a repeat violation (Class 2) Violation. <br /> 14 CA Health and Safety Code 25505(a)(4) 1020002-Provided initial and annual training and maintained training records <br /> for a minimum of three years. <br /> OBSERVATION: No training has been documented for new employees and annual training for all employees in safety <br /> procedures in the event of a release or threatened release of a hazardous material, including familiarity with the plans <br /> and procedures involving emergency contacts, release response, and evacuation plans. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business plan shall include provisions for ensuring that appropriate personnel receive <br /> initial and annual refresher training.All employees shall be trained in safety procedures in the event of a release or <br /> threatened release of a hazardous material, including, but not limited to,familiarity with the following plans and <br /> procedures: <br /> (A) Immediate notification contacts to the appropriate local emergency response personnel and to the unified program <br /> agency. <br /> (B) Procedures for the mitigation of a release or threatened release to minimize any potential harm or damage to <br /> persons, property, or the environment. <br /> (C)Evacuation plans and procedures, including immediate notice,for the business site. <br /> This training shall be documented electronically or by hard copy and shall be made available for a minimum of three <br /> years. <br /> FA0021911 PR0537958 SCO01 08/30/2024 <br /> EHD Rev.12/06/2021 Page 3 of 4 CP22-HMBP OIR <br /> 1868 E.
