Site Control <br />The site control program is designed to identify and isolate areas of the site, to facilitate <br />emergency evacuation and medical care to prevent unauthorized entry to the site, and to <br />deter vandalism and theft. This section is in compliance with 29 CFR 1910.120(b)(4)(ii)(F) <br />and 29 CFR 1910.120(d). <br />The site control program provides the following site-specific information: <br />• Site map <br />• Site access procedures <br />• Site security <br />• Internal (on-site) and external (off-site) communications <br />• Medical assistance <br />• Use of the buddy system <br />The contractor is responsible for ensuring the site control program is updated as needed. <br />4.1 Site Map <br />Site map(s) indicating the site perimeter, entry and exit points, evacuation routes, and places <br />of safe assembly will be reviewed as part of the job brief. <br />4.2 Site Access Procedures <br />For the safety of all personnel, access to the site is restricted to only those site workers who <br />have access approval from contractor, SSHO, or other official. All workers and site visitors <br />shall only enter into work sounds for which they have access approval from the SSHO. During <br />hours of site operation, site entry and exits as authorized only at the point(s). Entry and <br />access of these points shall be controlled by warning signs and barrier tape. <br />All visitors to the site must register with the SSHO. Visitors shall be required to wear the <br />appropriate level of PPE consistent with the area of the site they wish to visit. <br />4.3 Site Security <br />The SSHO, shall be responsible for establishing and maintaining site security measures for <br />the site. Site security at the site is maintained to prevent unauthorized entry. All workers and <br />site visitors shall be required to sign in with the SSHO and/or appropriate contractor <br />personnel prior to entry.
