Site Health and Safety Plan Page 36 <br />10. Emergency Response <br />This section describes Site Specific Emergency Response procedures in compliance with 29 <br />CFR 1926.65(b)(4)(ii)(H). Specifically, this section addresses potential emergencies at the <br />project site, procedures for responding to these emergencies, roles and responsibilities <br />during an emergency response, and training. Also, this section describes the provisions that <br />have been made to coordinate emergency response planning with site emergency response <br />organizations. <br />This Emergency Response Plan shall be made available for inspection and/or copying by site <br />workers, their representatives, OSHA personnel, and other local, state, or federal agencies <br />with relevant responsibilities as required by 29 CFR 19 2665(l)(3)(i). <br />This Emergency Response Plan provides the following site-specific information: <br />• Pre-emergency planning <br />• Personnel roles, lines of authority, and communication <br />• Emergency recognition and prevention <br />• Safe distances and places of refuge <br />• Site security and control <br />• Evacuation routes and procedures <br />• Decontamination procedures <br />• Medical treatment and first aid <br />• Alerting and response procedures <br />• Critique of response and follow-up <br />• Personal protective equipment and emergency equipment <br />10.1 Pre-Emergency Planning <br />This Emergency Response Plan is compatible and integrated with the disaster, fire and/or <br />emergency response plans of local, state, and federal agencies. This Emergency Response <br />Plan shall be reviewed periodically and amended as necessary to keep it current with new or <br />changing site conditions or information. This site has been evaluated for potential <br />emergency occurrences based on identified site hazards, tasks within the work plan, site <br />topography, and prevailing weather conditions. <br />Table 4 summarizes the emergency hazards that may be encountered at this Site. <br />Table 4 Summary of Emergency Types that may be Encountered During Construction Activities. <br />Type of Emergency Source of Emergency <br />Medical Emergency Construction Activities <br />Fuel/hydraulic fluid spill Construction Activities
