Good morning Elena,
We received the laboratory data last night for the confirmation soil sampling and attached are the
results. As we suspected, the laboratory data confirms low level and non-detectable results, which is
good news. Please also note that total lead is very low and ranges from 2.72 mg/kg to 5.73 mg/kg,
which is well below default environmental screening levels for both commercial and residential
scenarios.
Given the site information, including this data, we believe that no further action is necessary, and the
next phase of work can proceed.
Our completion letter will include the laboratory data and description of field observations further
confirming that we did not observe any staining, odor, or signs of impact during our investigation. Our
letter will be signed and stamped by a California Professional Engineer.
Please let us know if this is acceptable and we can continue progressing with the project.
I appreciate your help on this and please call me if there is anything you would like to discuss.
Thank you,
C Scott Johns,PE,QSD
BVGr—U Associate
— Fxpecd Excaiemc 925-570-5855
From:Scott Johns
Sent: Friday,October 10,2025 4:29 PM
To:'emanzo@sigov.org'<emanzo@sjgov.org>
Subject: FW: UST Sampling-Stockton
Hi Elena, please see the email below. I wanted to follow up and provide you with the
correspondence from the accredited laboratory regarding lead analysis (see below). Please note that
crystalline silicate-bound structures, such as those found in quartz and granite, are not present in the
site soil.
