(Frey). The
Quick-N-Save #1 case is located at 1901 South El Dorado Street in Stockton (Site).
In the Report, Frey presented results of depth discrete grab groundwater sampling from
borings CPT-9 through CPT-12. Petroleum hydrocarbons were detected in grab
groundwater samples at maximum concentrations of 7,000 micrograms per liter (pg/L)
total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-G), 2,880 pg/L benzene, and 176 pg/L
naphthalene.
Based on the results of depth discrete grab groundwater sampling, Frey recommended
additional plume delineation by installing two groundwater monitoring wells. Central
Valley Water Board staff concurs with additional delineation at the Site. By
15 June 2023, please submit a work plan presenting a scope of work for additional
groundwater delineation that addresses the comments below:
1. Installation of a groundwater monitoring well is needed to the northeast of boring
CPT-12 that monitors groundwater at 105 foot below ground surface (ft bgs).
MARK BRADFORD, CHAIR I PATRICK PULUPA, ESQ., EXECUTIVE OFFICER
11020 Sun Center Drive#200, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670 1 www.waterboards.ca.gov/centralvalley
