A dOAQU1N Environmental Health Department <br /> COUNTY <br /> CP22 - UST FULL Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: 72057 <br /> ty Address: Date: <br /> STOCKTON FOOD&GAS#2 S ELDORADO ST, STOCKTON FehruarV 12 2025 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> This is (Minor)Violation. <br /> 28 CA Code of Regulations 2638(a),2641 Q)2030043- Leak detection equipment properly installed, calibrated, operated, <br /> and maintained (TCR 9d). <br /> OBSERVATION: The Veeder Root 208 sensor located in the 87 STP sump was found hanging from an electrical pipe <br /> within the sump, lifted approximately 8 inches above the lowest point of the sump.Approximately 3 inches below the <br /> lifted 208 sensor was about 25 gallons of water. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All monitoring equipment shall be installed, calibrated, operated, and maintained in <br /> accordance with manufacturer's instructions, and certified for operability, proper operating condition, and proper <br /> calibration. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Service technician relocated sensor and ensured sensor is properly maintained according to <br /> manufacturer's instructions. <br /> This was corrected on site. <br /> This is (Class 2)Violation. <br /> 30 CA Code of Regulations 2630(d),2641(a)2060015-Leak detection equipment located so leak is detected at the <br /> earliest possible opportunity(TCR 9d). <br /> OBSERVATION:The VR 208 sensor located in the 87 STP Sump was raised approximately 8 inches off the lowest <br /> point of the sump and not located to detect a leak at the earliest opportunity. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Monitoring equipment shall be maintained to be able to detect a leak at the earliest <br /> possible opportunity. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: The sensor was relocated to the lowest point of the sump by the service technician. Ensure <br /> that all monitoring equipment is maintained and located to detect a leak at the earliest opportunity. <br /> This is a repeat violation (Class 2) Violation. <br /> 31 CA Health and Safety Code 25299(a)(9)2030062-Leak detection equipment has not been tampered with or disabled <br /> (TCR 9d). <br /> OBSERVATION:The Veeder Root 208 sensor located in the 87 STP sump was found hanging from an electrical pipe <br /> within the sump, lifted approximately 8 inches above the lowest point of the sump.Approximately 3 inches below the <br /> lifted 208 sensor was about 25 gallons of liquid. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:An operator of an underground storage tank system shall not allow tampering with or <br /> otherwise disabling automatic leak detection devices or alarms. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: The sensor was relocated to the lowest point of the sump by the service technician.
