Contact the local fire district, the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District, and the local <br /> community development department for any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for written approval <br /> prior to commencing work. All new submittals supersede previous ones. <br /> 3. Email notification to ust(aD_sigov.orq to arrange the following inspection appointments. All <br /> appointments must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance. <br /> a. Corrosion protection on the diesel spill bucket: Verify corrosion for direct spill bucket prior to <br /> backfilling. <br /> b. Spill bucket test on the diesel spill bucket: Verify minimum 5-gallon capacity. Pass a one <br /> hour hydrostatic test (or equivalent). Verify proper drainage method. <br /> c. Verification of diesel overfill prevention: Measurement of drop tubes to verify 95% tank <br /> volume shut off, verification of external audible/visual alarm activation when tank is 90% <br /> full, or other approved method. Ensure that all pertinent tank charts and calculations are <br /> available for review at the time of inspection. <br /> d. Verification that ball float(s), if installed, do not interfere with the installed flapper valve for <br /> the 87 and diesel tank. <br /> e. Leak detector test on the 87 tank: Verify the device can detect a leak of 3 gallons per hour <br /> at 10 psi. Verify line volumes are appropriate for the make and model of the installed leak <br /> detectors. (already completed 11212024) <br /> 1868 E.
