SA N J O A Q U I N Environmental Health Department <br /> COUNTY <br /> 4. Monitoring system functionality: Functionality of the monitoring system, including all sensors, <br /> must be verified to ensure monitoring has been restored to meet the requirements of CCR Title <br /> 23 and California Health & Safety Code (HSC) Chapter 6.7. If a cold start of the monitoring panel <br /> is performed, a copy of the alarm history shall be printed prior to performing the cold start, and <br /> made available at the time of EHD inspection. (already completed 1111412023) <br /> 5. Since concrete will be broken near the diesel tank, a secondary containment test must be <br /> performed on the diesel tank once concrete is poured in accordance with the manufacturer's <br /> guidelines. <br /> The facility cannot receive fuel in the diesel tank prior to the EHD inspection and approval. <br /> 6. Any individual installing underground storage systems or components must possess, or work <br /> under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically present at the work site at <br /> all times while work is being performed who possesses, all of the following: <br /> • One of several permissible valid, current contractor licenses issued by the Contractors State <br /> License Board (CSLB) <br /> • A current UST Installation/Retrofitting certificate issued by the International Code Council <br /> (ICC) <br /> • A valid, current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the component(s) being <br /> installed <br /> 7. Any individual performing the work of a service technician must possess, or work under the direct <br /> and personal supervision of an individual physically present at the work site at all times while <br /> work is being performed who possesses, all of the following: <br /> • One of several permissible valid, current contractor licenses issued by the CSLB <br /> • A current California UST Service Technician certificate issued by the ICC <br /> • A valid, current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the component(s) being <br /> tested, or the developer of the testing equipment or test method(s) being used <br /> 8. Individuals working under the direct supervision of a qualified UST installer or UST service <br /> technician must, at a minimum, be employed by the person with the CSLB license and possess <br /> all manufacturer certificates of training for the equipment on which they are working. <br /> 9. The tank owner or operator shall log into the California Environmental Reporting System <br /> (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/ and ensure all UST information is current. <br /> 10. This permit expires 180 days from the date of approval.
