Please be <br /> aware that all EHD staff time associated with a follow up inspection will be billed at our current hourly rate ($172). <br /> This is a repeat violation (Class 2) Violation. <br /> 24 CA Code of Regulations 2632(c), 2634(d), 2636(f)2030003-Leak detection system maintains continuous monitoring <br /> that activates an audible and visual alarm. <br /> OBSERVATION:The float&chain in all the UDCs(1/2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8) failed to stop the flow of product at the <br /> dispenser when tested. 3 float&chains in UDC 1/2, 3/4, 7/8 were disconnected from the pipe. 2 float&chains in UDC <br /> 5/6 were disconnected from the pipe. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All monitoring equipment shall be maintained to activate an audible and visual alarm or <br /> stop the flow of product at the dispenser when it detects a leak. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Correct immediately by having a properly licensed,trained, and certified contractor replace <br /> the failed component with a functional component(LG 113-x listed, if applicable), and obtain a permit within one <br /> business day from the EHD, if needed. If the failed component can't be replaced immediately,there is a possibility <br /> that the 87, 91, E-85 UST system may be red tagged to prevent fuel inputs. <br /> This is a repeat violation (Class 2) Violation. <br /> 45 CA Code of Regulations 2636(f)(2)2030025-LLD on DW press piping monitors hrly, detects a 3.0 gph leak, and <br /> restricts/shuts off flow(TCR 9d). <br /> OBSERVATION:The 91 VMI line leak detector failed to detect a leak when tested. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All line leak detectors shall be capable of detecting a 3-gallon per hour leak at 10 psi. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: This was corrected on site.The service technician adjusted the leak detector, retested it, and <br /> it passed. <br /> This is a repeat violation (Class 2) Violation. <br /> 52 CA Code of Regulations 2635(c)(1)2030036-Overfill prevention system has not been overridden and meets overfill <br /> requirements(TCR 9b). <br /> OBSERVATION: Overfill Prevention Equipment testing was last performed on 9/27/2021 and was due by September <br /> 2024. Testing has not been completed and is 6 months past due. The designated operator has been writing 3/12/2024 <br /> on all DO reports as the Overfill Prevention Equipment date.
