The frequency for field duplicate sample <br /> collection and analysis for the project is 1 per 10 primary samples of each soil, groundwater, and <br /> soil vapor sample. The relative percent differences (RPDs)between the results of the field <br /> duplicate and the primary groundwater sample should be less than or equal to 30%. <br /> 4.3.4 Equipment Blanks <br /> Equipment blanks are used to evaluate decontamination procedures of drilling and groundwater <br /> sampling equipment. Equipment blanks will be collected with contaminant-free water that is <br /> poured over decontaminated, non-dedicated sampling equipment and collected into required <br /> sampling containers. Non-dedicated sampling equipment may include the drilling shoe (for soil <br /> and grab groundwater sampling) or sample pumps (i.e. bladder pumps for groundwater <br /> monitoring well sampling). One equipment blank will be collected per day during drilling or <br /> groundwater monitoring well sampling activities when non-dedicated sampling equipment is <br /> used. These samples are submitted to the laboratory for identical analyses as the primary soil and <br /> groundwater samples. <br /> 4.4 Data Validation <br /> Analytical data will be provided by the laboratory in both PDF and electronic data deliverable <br /> (EDD) format. Once data are received from the laboratory, the reports will be reviewed to <br /> evaluate data quality. A Stage 2A data quality review will be performed for all testing <br /> parameters, which consider the following, as applicable: <br /> • Data completeness. <br /> • Holding times. <br /> • Method blanks. <br /> • Matrix spike/matrix spike duplicate samples. <br /> • Laboratory control samples/laboratory control duplicate samples. <br /> • Surrogate recoveries. <br /> • Detection limits. <br /> 5. REPORTING AND SCHEDULE <br /> After completion of work, the data will be presented to the Port of Stockton and the CVRWQCB <br /> and DTSC in an investigation report, which will include the following items: <br /> • A description of field events. <br /> • Any deviations from sampling, analysis, and validation described in this Work Plan. <br /> • Field logs, including boring logs and COC forms. <br /> • Laboratory analytical results. <br /> • Comparison of laboratory analytical results to the criteria presented in the LTCP. <br /> Investigation Work Plan—UST 817B 14 December 2024 <br />
