These training programs may <br />take into consideration the position of each employee. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately prepare or update the facility's training program, log into the California <br />Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, upload the correct or updated information, and <br />submit to the EHD for approval. <br />This is (Class 2) Violation. <br />CA Health and Safety Code 25505(a)(4) 1020002 - Provided initial and annual training and maintained training records <br />for a minimum of three years. <br />OBSERVATION: After speaking with the new owner, Amandeep Kaur Sahota, a training program, for the handling of <br />hazardous materials, has not been implemented. Therefore, initial and annual training of employees has not taken <br />place. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business plan shall include provisions for ensuring that appropriate personnel receive <br />initial and annual refresher training. All employees shall be trained in safety procedures in the event of a release or <br />threatened release of a hazardous material, including, but not limited to, familiarity with the following plans and <br />procedures: <br />(A) Immediate notification contacts to the appropriate local emergency response personnel and to the unified program <br />agency. <br />(B) Procedures for the mitigation of a release or threatened release to minimize any potential harm or damage to <br />persons, property, or the environment. <br />(C) Evacuation plans and procedures, including immediate notice, for the business site. This training shall be <br />documented electronically or by hard copy and shall be made available for a minimum of three years. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately provide employee training for appropriate personnel and submit a copy of the <br />training records to the EHD. <br />This is (Minor) Violation. <br /> 14 <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />This Full Inspection Report replaces the previous Inspection Checklist. The facility has been under new ownership <br />since October of 2021.
