SAN JOAQUIN <br /> Environmental Health Department <br />COUN I Y <br />Food Program Service Request Inspection Report <br />Facility Name and Address: SAN JOAQUIN DELTA COLLEGE, 5151 PACIFIC AVE , STOCKTON <br />NOTES <br />Consultation inspection. No major violations. Time given for correction of minor violations. No re-inspection. <br />Ok to issue permit. <br />PE1632 <br />Official inspection report was emailed to operator. <br />To minimize person-to-person contact, the signature of the person receiving the inspection report was not captured. <br />NOTES: <br />-For this area we are going to need plans for the new additions that will be in there (walk-in cooler & freezer). Plans can be hand <br />drawn and do not need to be done by an architect. <br />-A prep sink will need to be added to the area. A food preparation sink shall be provided in permanent food facilities for the <br />washing, rinsing, soaking, thawing, or similar preparation of foods. The food prep sink shall have minimum dimensions of <br />eighteen (18) inches by eighteen (18) inches and twelve (12) inches deep with an integral drain board at least eighteen (18) <br />inches by eighteen (18) inches. This sink shall drain to waste by means of an indirect connection. <br />-A hand sink will need to be added. Hand washing station will need hot and cold water supplies, wall mounted fully enclosed <br />single service hand towel dispenser, wall mounted liquid or powder hand soap dispenser, immediately accessible from the food <br />preparation area. <br />-The three compartment sink in Shima 301 can be used for both rooms so that won't need to be added. <br />-For the floors in the room a coved base will need to be added. Rubber base is not allowed. A slim foot tile is probably the <br />easiest option. Floor surfaces shall be coved at the juncture at the floor and wall with a three-eighths (3/8) inch minimum radius <br />coving and shall extend up the wall at least four (4) inches. <br />-For the walk-in cooler and freezer: The floor surfaces shall be smooth and of durable construction and nonabsorbent material <br />which is easily cleaned. These floor surfaces shall be coved at the juncture at the floor and wall with a three-eighths (3/8) inch <br />minimum radius coving and shall extend up the wall at least four (4) inches. Rubber or vinyl top set base is not permitted in <br />these areas. All refrigeration units which discharges liquid waste, shall be drained by means of indirect waste pipes discharged <br />through an air gap into a floor sink or other approved waste receptor. All floor sinks are to be positioned to be readily cleanable, <br />accessible for inspections, and must be flush with finished floor. Do not place floor sinks inside walk in refrigeration units or <br />cabinets. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
